Who we are

MatchCraft Football Academy (MCFA) runs after-school football at partner schools, Court Kings social 5-a-side for adults and a planned indoor Academy for boys aged 7–14 (starting soon) across Melbourne's north and west. For anything in this notice, contact info@matchcraft.com.au.

What we collect

When you register Academy interest, we ask for: your name, suburb, email and phone; your child's first name and age; and optionally their playing experience, preferred training nights, the membership you're considering, and how you heard about us.

When you register after-school interest, we ask for: your name, email and mobile; each child's first name and year level; the sessions and term you want; confirmation that you are the parent or guardian and agree to contact about your enquiry (stored with the wording, version and acceptance time); and whether MatchCraft may email you about future programs (optional). Enrolment and Court Kings booking forms carry their own notices and collect only what that program needs.

When you submit a venue enquiry, we ask for: your name, the venue's name and suburb, your email, and optionally a phone number and message.

Site measurement. We run our own first-party measurement — no advertising trackers and no cookies. Your browser stores a random session identifier (for the browser session) and, for up to 30 days, the campaign details of your first visit (any campaign parameters in the link you clicked, the page you landed on, and the referring site's domain). We record page views, clicks on register buttons, and form starts, submissions and errors, linked to that random identifier — not to your name — although first-visit campaign details are attached to a form submission if you make one, so we know which channel brought registrations.

Children's information

Interest forms ask for a child's first name and age or year level. After-School enrolment also asks for their full name, school and program details, football experience, collection arrangements and any medical conditions, allergies, injuries or support needs. Medical details are restricted to staff with medical-information access for the relevant program and are never saved on your device. The enrolment form shows its privacy notice and consent questions before submission. The person submitting declares that they are the child's parent or guardian; we do not independently verify their identity.

Saving an unfinished enrolment on your device is optional and stays off unless you tick the box on the form. If you tick it, this browser keeps only the parent or guardian's name, mobile, email and contact choice and each child's name, year, gender, student answer, session and football experience, so you can choose to resume within 24 hours of ticking it. Medical answers, collection and emergency details, on-site confirmations, notes and consent choices are never saved there. Anyone using the same browser can open saved details, so leave it unticked on a shared device. You can remove the saved copy or clear the form while editing. The form tries to remove its saved copy before sending your enrolment. It also checks and tries to remove expired copies and older automatically saved answers when the enrolment page next opens. If browser storage cannot be checked or cleared, a warning explains that a copy may remain. You can also clear this site's data in your browser settings.

How we use it

• To confirm we've received your registration or enquiry.
• To contact you as the Academy's start arrangements (venues and nights) are confirmed.
• To respond to your after-school enquiry and, when staff confirm an available intake, send the relevant enrolment details.
• To discuss a possible venue partnership with venue contacts.
• To understand which pages and campaigns lead to registrations, so we can plan venues and communicate better.

We do not sell your information or use it for third-party advertising.

Where it's stored

We use a small number of service providers to run this site:

• Convex — hosts our backend and database, where form submissions and measurement events are stored.
• Resend — delivers our emails.
• Vercel — hosts the website.

These providers may process data on servers outside Australia. They act on our instructions to provide these services.

Retention, access and deletion

We keep registrations and enquiries while we prepare and start each program, and review what we hold once operations are established. You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete the information you've given us — email info@matchcraft.com.au and we'll action it.

Changes

If this notice changes, we'll update it here with a new date. Significant changes affecting information you've already given us will be emailed to you.
