Who we are

MatchCraft Football Academy (MCFA) is a pre-launch indoor football program for boys aged 7–14, preparing to launch in October 2026 across Melbourne's north and west. For anything in this notice, contactinfo@matchcraft.com.au.

What we collect

When you register interest, we ask for: your name, suburb, email and phone; your child's first name and age; and optionally their playing experience, preferred training nights, the membership you're considering, and how you heard about us.

When you submit a venue enquiry, we ask for: your name, the venue's name and suburb, your email, and optionally a phone number and message.

Site measurement. We run our own first-party measurement — no advertising trackers and no cookies. Your browser stores a random session identifier (for the browser session) and, for up to 30 days, the campaign details of your first visit (any campaign parameters in the link you clicked, the page you landed on, and the referring site's domain). We record page views, clicks on register buttons, and form starts, submissions and errors, linked to that random identifier — not to your name — although first-visit campaign details are attached to a form submission if you make one, so we know which channel brought registrations.

Children's information

We collect only a child's first name and age. The person submitting the form must declare that they are the child's parent or guardian and consent to contact; we do not independently verify their identity. We do not collect medical or health information through this website. If your child is offered a place once sessions are confirmed, consent and relevant medical information will be collected separately before participation.

How we use it

• To confirm we've received your registration or enquiry.
• To contact you as launch arrangements (venues, nights, the free first session) are confirmed — including a confirmation email and up to two follow-up emails if we haven't connected yet.
• To discuss a possible venue partnership with venue contacts.
• To understand which pages and campaigns lead to registrations, so we can plan venues and communicate better.

We do not sell your information or use it for third-party advertising.

Where it's stored

We use a small number of service providers to run this site:

• Convex — hosts our backend and database, where form submissions and measurement events are stored.
• Resend — delivers our emails.
• Vercel — hosts the website.

These providers may process data on servers outside Australia. They act on our instructions to provide these services.

Retention, access and deletion

We keep registrations and enquiries while we prepare and launch the program, and review what we hold once launch operations are established. You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete the information you've given us — email info@matchcraft.com.au and we'll action it.

Changes

If this notice changes, we'll update it here with a new date. Significant changes affecting information you've already given us will be emailed to you.
